In the aftermath of the horrific wildfires that devastated parts of Los Angeles in January, Franklin Graham will bring a message of hope this Easter Sunday, in a program called Easter from the Ashes.
The half-hour program also features new music from Michael W. Smith and Charity Gayle.
Franklin’s message addresses the pain that so many people, both in Los Angeles and in many other areas, are facing this Easter. “Easter is not the same for many people this year,” he said. “So many have gone through devastating tragedy and loss.”
But the message of Easter—that after Jesus bore the punishment for our sins on the cross, God raised Him from the grave, victorious over death—means that no matter what tragedies may come, all who put their trust in Christ are held safe in the hands of God.
“Whatever your circumstances, I want you to know this—God loves you,” Franklin said.
Easter from the Ashes premieres on Fox News at noon on Sunday, April 20. You can also watch it later online at BillyGraham.org or on a station near you.
