Azusa Pacific University’s administration came under fire for altering, without consent of its board, its standards of conduct to allow “romanticized” same-sex relationships. In response, the school’s trustees reversed the decision, reinstating the original wording of the conduct policy, which held to a Biblical standard.
In a letter released to the public, APU’s board of trustees said, “We pledge to boldly uphold Biblical values and not waiver in our Christ-centered mission. We will examine how we live up to these high ideals and enact measures that prevent us from swaying from that sure footing.”
